I just received my copy of the winter edition of Gift Shop magazine. Ahh, the wonderful product available! But what I loved most was the editorial from Patricia Norins, publisher. The headline was "A Passion for Work." I love that. I happen to think retailing is easy to get passionate about, especially gift retailing. Still, we sometimes get jaded or just tired and need a bit of a boost. Patricia is a master at it. And that is reflected in her magazines. The color. The care. The layouts. I highly recommend Gift Shop and its sister publications. They're better than caffeine for what ails you, your store, your career.
